Where did the time go?

What a strange few years it's been. There's some activity going on in the studio. I hope to have some things for you to listen to soon. There are live versions of my older songs and some new material. There are also some collaborators involved. I'll be putting a lot of that new material on Soundcloud as it gets closer to being ready. See you soon!

How's the Social Distancing treating everyone?  I hope you are doing okay and you and your friends and family are healthy and coping with it all okay.  For your listening pleasure, here is a show from the Fall of 2017 to keep you company.   This was from the end of the night, there were just a few friends left but we had a good time!

Indoors? Social distancing?

This is a strange time.  I hope everyone reading this is doing okay out there.  I'm at home cooking up some material to post that I hope will help the time at home go by faster.  See you guys soon!

Another year flying by!

Hard to believe it's already December.  There were a lot of things going on in 2019.   Here's a quick recap of the latest.

Students have jams!  There are some videos up from the open mic nights at the Bar at 805 that some of my adult students played.  Former student and open mic host Gus Hergert often sat in on drums.

There are a couple of new video playlists for students that you can get to from this web site.  I have organized them a bit and separated the beginner videos from the others.  Check that out on the Lesson Supplement page.

Much more is planned.   Come see me at Guitar Center in Huntsville, on University Dr and sign up for lessons!

Local Flavor. Know Huntsville on the Valley's CW.

Here's an episode of Know Huntsville, Huntsville's local videocast, from April 2017.  Know Huntsville promotes the art and culture in Huntsville, Alabama.  From their Facebook page:   "Huntsville Alabama is a great town....we can prove it. A local videocast that promotes local Music, Food, Drinks, Arts, Sports and Events in Huntsville AL."   My musical segment starts at about 25:55.   Give em a like and a sub, and if you like the show share the links with your friends.   We all appreciate it!

Rolling!

I had the pleasure this past weekend of playing bass with my buddy Rich Colgan and The Rolling Stones Tribute Show from Toronto, Canada at the Miami Valley Casino in the Cinicinatti Ohio area.  It was a great time and a really solid show with those fellas.   Here are some videos from that event, featuring Mike Danckert-guitar, Chris Newman-vocals/guitar, Murad Gunduz-drums, Rich Colgan-guitar, and yours truly.  Enjoy!  If you see us out on the road say "hello"!

Here's the newest (and possibly briefest) Vlog post.

Here are a couple of full songs from the show.   Subscribe to the RSTS page!

First of November

Where did the year go?  It has been another speedy one, for sure.  Halloween season is over and I imagine a lot of people are preparing for the Thanksgiving/Christmas season.  There is nothing live on the calendar for me right now but I am prepping some video and audio for public consumption as there is a lot of material I've recorded over the last few months.  It was great seeing you all out and about in downtown Huntsville and I will be seeing you again soon but for now I hope your Halloween was fun and that you have enjoyed the video I've posted from the recent live dates.

I'll be keeping you all up to date here and via the mailing list.  Thanks to all of you for tuning in and listening.  See you soon!
